Prana is the sanskrit word for energy or breath, or life force. It is something that we all have within us, but due to many different factors it can become blocked, stagnant. Yoga is a great tool to help get it flowing freely again.
In this 2 day workshop we will explore different ways of releasing and freeing the prana. Both days will begin with a pranayma practice, and then move into a flowing vinyasa practice.
The first day will focus on a more energizing practice, arm balances, backbends and twists.
The second day will be more gentle and restorative, focusing on hip openers and hamstring lengthening.

Due to the huge popularity of Nikki's original 2 day workshop, she is putting on an extra day of bending and stretching and breathing and laughing. This will be a condensed version of the Prana Flow workshop. The practice will begin with a pranayama practice, then move into a more dynamic asana practice, focusing on arm balances, backbends and twists. The practice will wind down with more gentle, restorative poses, such as hip openers. We will be covering a lot in the 3 hours so is not really suitable for complete beginners, but it will be a great way to waken up the body and mind after Christmas.
